Did you find a listing on realestateblueridge.com / ngmls.com that had bad or misleading information (says “lakefront” but it’s not, misrepresentation of photos, etc.)?

    When I submit an enquiry re a property, regardless of the format I use I get a message to say my ‘phone number is invalid.

    Property is 200′ +- on Fightingtown CREEK….not Fightingtown RIVER. That’s a huge misrepresentation of seller’s property not only as to type of waterfront but also as that misconception flows into realistic market value.

    Acreage may also be incorrect. Even tax assessor is showing two different amounts. Difference is about 1/4 acre but that could be a significant amount since this is creekfront property.

    This property sold for $189,000 in Nov 2003, now listed with a whopping $510,000 appreciation. IMPO, I doubt that this property is worth $700,000 for 1998 construction in only average condition, only 1584 sf, tax assessment of only $178,000 and only 200′ of creekfront. Perhaps, if it was on the Toccoa River.

    Tax Assessor has had 4 years to appropriately raise this property’s assessment to 100 percent. This has not been done. In fact, it has remained below what this owner paid. Kinda makes a person wonder, doesn’t it?
